The price point was the most amazing thing about the GTR and it's what found it a place as the darling of all the automotive rags. I'm dissapointed that the price point was only a marketing stunt and it seems they never really intended to offer it to the consumer for that price. Reminds me of the Z which started off at around 30k (correct?) and was over 40 by the time they stopped production in 96. I read an article somewhere citing that as one of the main reasons demand for the Z dropped off and they didn't make it to production end in the U.S.
